CTAM EUROPE EuroSummit 2011 - Europe’s unique gathering for Cable Marketers
CTAM Europe – the premier cable marketing organization for European cable television marketers, will host EuroSummit 2011, the annual cable marketing conference, at the Westin Dragonara Resort in Malta, September 22-23, 2011. “This year we will tackle the challenges facing cable marketers across the globe,’ said Krisztina Homolay, Managing Director of CTAM Europe, “The theme of the conference is “Surf the waves of change”, she continued, “so we are hosting in-depth discussions on the growing relevance of social media, internet access to linear channels, as well as examining every major issue facing the industry today.”
Following the welcome address by CTAM Europe Chairman Chris Winkelmolen, the Day One keynote speaker will be Doron Hacmon, MD Products & Online Media, UPC Broadband, whose very different approach to the keynote speech is entitled - "What's Love Got To Do With It?" ‘We all remember our first love. On Day Two the CEO Forum, including Andrei Torriani, CEO, Melita Cable and Niall Curran, Chief Operating Officer, chellomedia, will be moderated by media commentator Ray Snoddy, who presents the BBC programme Newswatch on BBC World. On the same day the keynote interview with Michelle Nowak, Global Director of Strategy & Solutions for Cable, Convergy and Phyllis Harris, General Manager, Communications & Media, Microsoft will discuss the theme - Convergys & Microsoft: “Safe” is the New “Sorry” , sharing powerful competitor insights and survival tactics for cable industry.

CAP Awards CTAM Europe’s 2011 CAP competition will award the best cable marketing campaigns that have built or sustained strong brands. This year’s Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced at a special Awards Ceremony hosted by SPT Networks Central Europe on 22 September.
Every year CTAM Europe invites operators, networks and content providers to submit their best and brightest marketing campaigns to compete for the top CTAM accolade, the Gold Creative Award, which recognizes the excellence in marketing and the outstanding achievements of the cable industry.
