 Monique Nanninga is a senior Marketing and Communications professional with 18 years of experience in Telecommunications, Marketing & Advertising. Throughout her career she has applied this expertise successfully on both the client and the agency-sides of the business. Monique is currently Director of Marketing Communications, Europe, for UPC Broadband. In this role she is responsible for the development of programs designed to optimize marketing communications effectiveness in all UPC countries. Key initiatives include; a Pan-European advertising framework, a media management program, offline and online marketing communications strategy, among others. Before joining UPC Broadband’s European headquarters, Monique worked with the Dutch affiliate UPC Netherlands as a Director of Marketing.
Monique started her career in 1991 at KPN (Dutch telco incumbent) and held several positions in Marketing of fixed and mobile telecommunications.
After KPN she started to work at the advertising agencies FHV/BBDO (Client Service Director) and Young & Rubicam (Strategy Director).
Since 2004 Monique has worked for UPC Broadband.
Outside of work Monique gives Personal Branding lectures to MBA students at the Lausanne Business School in Switzerland.
